I respectfully hope that the reactions and results you're seeing in the recent debates and the fallout in the media are helping you to understand that people like me, ordinary middle Americans, are really stepping forward and demanding accountability from our political leaders. We are not pleased with the way this Republican Leadership and White House is conducting the business of the American people and we're waiting for you, Senator Stevens and your many other colleagues to stop playing special interest, partisan politics with our futures.I truly admire all of you for doing a tough job, it's just so frustrating to feel that you have lost touch with the kind of balance that we are looking for and need so badly in our lives. We don't care about party lines. We care about our nation, our communities and out loved ones here and in the military. You seem to put power and money and influence above that and it looks shameful.Please do have a happy holiday in beautiful Batavia or wherever you end up with your loved ones.
